This Book Better Be Good!

Ok.  I picked out my book Winter's Tale, by Mark Helprin, for two reasons:  one, it reminded me of Shakespeare, and two, it has a pretty cover.  Granted, these are not great reasons to pick out a book, but such is the quality of my decision-making-skill at times.  After I bought it I looked at the page numbers.  It has 768 pages!  What was I thinking?!!?  I can only hope that it is an entertaining distraction from my busy, chaotic life.  If not, it might have to be abandoned.
